I like using the plaid phonics series as it gives you practice with learning a specific phonetic skill within their units of study. There is just enough practice provided in the book. It pairs nicely with the Spelling Workout series, as they use the same words and nicely overlap with each other. I use both series together. It is also a great resource for students who are ESL. I highly recommend any book in the phonics series.

I've been homeschooling for several years and Plaid Phonics is the very best phonics book. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a workbook. While many phonics programs end at grade 3, it's important to continue teaching these concepts and in greater detail so the children retain all of the important lessons.

I found that the content was what I was looking for, but the quality of the images are terrible. I will look for something more vivid and clear for future book options for my twins
