Vision Forum, Inc The Four P's: Is He Ready to Lead? Audio CD

What will you say when that certain young man sits down in your living room, sweaty-palmed and tongue-tied,and asks permission to marry your daughter? What criteria should he meet? Thankfully, God has given us a clear picture of the role of the husband/father in the home, and in What He Must Be...If He Wants to Marry My Daughter, Dr. Voddie Baucham breaks this picture down into ten desirable qualities. Not only should parents of young women seek these qualities in a son-in-law, but parents of young men should cultivate them in their sons. In the companion CD, The Four Ps, Voddie establishes that he must be a prophet, priest, provider & protector. 1 CDs. 1 hour.

Voddie is always insightful, witty, and Biblical when he preaches or teaches and it is no different here. He takes us on an examination of the young Christian man using Titus as our guide and measuring the walk of a young man (or any man) as Prophet, Priest, Protector, and Provider. This very good CD teaches the qualities we should look for in a young man if he wants to wed our Christian daughter and the qualities any Christian man should examine himself for in his walk with God and his family. Thought provoking and convicting, but definitely not for those that hold a secular worldview in the church about manhood, because it demolishes those strongholds using the standards of God. I recommend this CD and any teaching by Voddie, certainly not perfect, but very good none the less.
