Don Symons
While I disagree thoroughly with Blocher's point of view (that Gen 1-3 was written as poetry, not history and thus should be seen as allegory, not literally), he certainly develops his point of view in a careful, reasoned way. He shows respect for the traditional literal view and clearly shows what he believes to be the superiority of his view. He also has some unique insights into the symbolism of Genesis (eg, the woman was made out of the rib. Not the head, not the foot, the rib...thus demonstrating the equality and side-by-side nature of the husband/wife relationship).A good read.
