Scholarly and analytical, practical and devotional, Newell's classic commentary is ideal for personal Bible study and sermon preparation. His interpretation considers both Greek and English texts, illuminating the apostle's thinking; while ample footnotes provide valuable information on the historical and critical context of individual passages. Written from a dispensationalist perspective. 588 pages, softcover from Kregel.

Written in 1938, this volume is a must for any serious Bible student. Next to my Bible, I consider it my most prized volume. His list of "Things which Gracious Souls Discover" in Chapter 6 should be memorized it is so valuable. This is the best volume on Romans I have.
