Howard Books The Divine Appointment

A liberal Supreme Court justice has died and the president, a right wing pro-life politician, nominates Dunbar Shelton to replace her in an explosive pro-life vs. pro-choice conflict.

In Tennessee, lawyers Eli Faulkner and Jill Baker represent a physician in the murder case of a young lawyer. Jill flies to Washington to get a part of the story from investigative journalist Holland Fletcher.

Together, the players in this drama will uncover answers that may cost them their lives. Is it worth it to risk everything when you're fighting for what you believe in?

Jerome Teel, paperback, 341 pages.

I thought he couldn't write a better book than The Election, but The Divine Appointment is awesome. A political thriller with complex relationships, exciting twists, and acts of faith. I can't wait for the next one from Jerome Teel.

I have felt that Christian Fiction's past efforts in the political thriller genre have been underwhelming. That has changed, however, with Jerome Teel's "The Election" and now "The Divine Appointment". The characters are credible and the story fast paced. Murder and the Supreme Court...this one has it all!

Once I picked up The Divine Appointment, I could not put it down until I was finished. Suspenseful through and through, there are plenty of twists and turns throughout to keep the reader on the edge of their seat. Although The Election is good, The Divine Appointment is even better!!If you like thrilling political fiction, you will love this book, and will receive truth as well.

It's no surprise that "The Divine Appointment" by Jerome Teel is equally as good as "The Election", his first book.Hold onto your seat because this is a fast paced political thriller with many twists and turns. If you enjoy Christian political fiction, then you will love "The Divine Appointment".And if you are a John Grisham fan, you will soon become a Jerome Teel fan.I highly recommend this book to everyone and especially Christians.

When a liberal Supreme Court justice dies, the sitting president sees an opportunity to leave his mark on future generations. His nominee is conservative. The senate is not. Of course, there will be a fight. In Tennessee, a couple of lawyers stumble upon a case with ties to the goings-on in Washington. When these two separate situations converge, the fur will fly.In Jerome Teel's second novel, you'll find all the makings of a great thriller. You'll also find growth as a writer from his first effort, The Election, to this one. Fans of such household names as Tom Clancy and John Grisham are strongly encouraged to pick up a copy of this work and Jerome's debut novel, The Election. I can assure you there will be no disappointment.I forward look forward to the next in what I hope will become a large bibliography of works by this rising author.
