I bought this bible as a gift for my adult daughter, she loves pink and she wanted a study bible so this was absolutely perfect. I thought it looked nice on the website but when it arrived I was blown away by how beautiful it is. The bible is such a beautiful book in any form but I think she will drawn to reading it as it is so nice to handle and look at. Fantastic product, it was so much nicer than I had anticipated. I couldn't find anything comparable here in the UK the only 'pink' girlie type bibles were aimed at teens and my daughter is in her twenties.

it's hard sometimes to know just what your going to get when you order online. the bible is just alittle big. i'm having trouble finding a bible cover to fit for a decent price. otherwise i'm throughly pleased.

This is one of the nicest study Bibles around. The foot notes and bio pages are full of insight and extra info. that help you understand the passages more. I would highly recommend this Bible to anyone. Jesus' words in red are an extra also. This Bible is jam packed with information about the who, what, when, and where that it will amaze you.

I haven't had the chance to use this Bible to the fullest as of yet, but just looking through it and seeing all the options it has to offer for studying is terrific. I'm looking forward to using it in my daily Bible study. I did find it very informative the other day when I used it to look up a reference in my Bible reading at that moment. So thankful for all the study helps.

I love the NIV translation of the bible. It is readable, using today's language to convey the true meaning of the text. That is why I prefer it over the ESV which can contain some awkward sentence structure and archaic terms. I was disappointed to see, though, that the newest edition contains gender inclusive language, which is not a translation but an addition to the text. I wish they would have made that important change clear when giving information on their product.

I ordered the NIV Bible for my wife who is in a Bible study that uses the version. She likes the notes and uses it as a resource for her study. I have a problem with the version changing so much from its first addition and leaving some of the Scripture that is in the KJV, NKJV, and NASV, but that aside, the Bible is well build, and the thumb index is a great help, with the hundreds of notes to help in any study one may have. The notes are solid conservative in nature. The Bible is built very well, but it is a little thick because of all the notes for almost all of the Scripture text. I have a KJV that has the same notes and the notes was the deciding factor in the purchase of the NIV version for my wife.

If you are looking to deepen your Christian faith by living it, then the Life Application Study Bible is for you. This is not the type of study Bible that merely presents history, background, and facts. This study Bible takes scripture and teaches you how to apply it to life and actually live the Christian faith.
The top-grain cowhide leather is superb! The grain is nice and glossy, but rather stiff to the touch. If you are looking for a limp leather Bible, this is not it (although it will loosen and soften up with time and use).
I can't speak for all editions, but mine was printed and bound in the USA. The text is in single column style rather than the two column traditional setting. This makes it read more like a book and increases smoothness and flow of the text when reading. The red lettering is very consistent, but is on the lighter side. The font is a very readable 9.5 point type.
The Bible itself is on the larger side, but about the average size for a study Bible. It measures in at 9.25x6.25 inches. If you are purchasing a cover, you will need a size X-Large.
It has a presentation page, and a concordance. It has side column references rather than down the middle. Each book has a very concise but interesting introduction, with a timeline, key verse, main idea, and all the other essential information when studying the Bible. One of the interesting features is the character profiles of many popular Bible characters that gives you everything there is to know about their life.
As far as translation issues go, this edition comes in the updated 2011 New International Version text. It is an improvement in many ways over the world's most popular English translation of the Bible.

My biggest complaint with this Bible is the print size. I'm really disappointed that the only large print in the NIV version is a hard cover edition. The Life Application Bible is great for applying scripture to every day life but the standard print is difficult for us "oldsters" to read. Other than that I don't think you can beat this Bible.

The price was the best that I found on this particular pink NIV Bible. Having the NIV Bible with life application is so beneficial! Plus the tab indents are an added plus. No matter how well I know the Bible they come in handy.

The color and design are beautiful. This is a manageable size to handle since it is smaller than the usual Study Bible and light weight. The thumb-index makes it easy to find passages quickly. I also enjoy reading the new NIV translation in my favorite Study Bible format, Life Application.

I really like this Bible. It has a wealth of additional, interesting information, as well as ways in which to apply God's truth to our lives. My only disappointment (and I guess I should have realized this before ordering) is that it's not as easy to locate specific verses as my two-column Bible, where each verse begins with a new line. I'm using it to read the Bible through and this version and footnotes are making it very interesting. I tend to make notes right in my Bible but this layout is not really conducive to doing that. Otherwise, this Bible is perfect! Oh, and it's beautiful in pink and its soft leather-like cover makes it easy to handle!

I ordered this bible as Valentine's gift for my husband. He loves the silver index pages that makes it easy to find each book of the bible, great maps to follow, great outlined notes, simple to read, awesome charts and diagrams, cross references, dictionary and concordance. I also requested an imprint of husband's full name, in silver, to the front cover. It turned out beautiful. He loves this bible.

I wish the cover were real leather. It seems a little flimsy for a Bible. But love the pink color and the thumb index. I hope it lasts.
I wish the NIV Life Application would include more maps from all different Biblical periods and then to some in present day. It would be interesting to see how the world looked when Israel was formed in the 1940's to present day.
Did anyone ever think to include a couple of blank pages between each book? It would be nice to insert our own notes from Bible studies.
