Christ's death on the cross was a monumental sacrifice that causes us to ask "And Can It Be?" Take an uplifting look at 12 Easter hymns---their history, biblical framework, and spiritual truths. While you're reading, listen to each hymn on the companion CD and draw "Near the Cross" with this musical devotional. 128 pages, hardcover from Crossway.

Review 1 for What Wondrous Love Is This: Hymns of Wonder and Worship to Remember His Love--Book & CD
Surpassed my expectation

This book definitely surpassed my expectation. It is beautifully designed and easy to read. It has a hard cover with dust jacket and ideal for gift-giving. Usually the covers of books with dust jackets are of average quality, but this one looks elegant in all-white with gold-stamped title. There are three authors who have worked together to produce a unique book about some of our favorite old hymns. Joni Eareckson Tada writes a story concerning the hymn; John MacArthur relates it to God's Word; and Bobbie Wolgemuth gives a little history on the hymn. At the back you will find the hymns with music. And, as an added bonus and value, there is a CD with these hymns. Anyone who loves the old hymns would be delighted to receive a copy of "What Wondrous Love is This".
