This is an excelent side-by-side comparative bible. I love having the Amplified next to my NASB...

However, Zondervan has replaced the 1984 version of the NIV with the new NIV 2011 translation... If you have memorized certain passages in the NIV in the past, don't expect this version to match.

Not a bad translation, just not what I had expected...
