I am so thankful for this product. Writing essays came naturally to me and so I didn't have a clue how to teach the art to my three, more math-biased, children. They have all improved so much after using this course. It breaks the task of writing down into achievable skills. It allows a lot of freedom in topic choice, which helped increase their motivation. Excellent value for money as it could easily supply two years worth of work.

I have used this product to help my daughter practice her writing. It was easy to use and she learned a lot from it without a lot of time or stress on her part. I have also used this product with a CoOp class of 5th thru 9th graders. All improved their writing and enjoyed the process at the same time.

This is a wonderful writing program! The short daily lessons are perfect for my son. He writes without complaining now. I recommend the teachers edition too! It is full of great tips!

We are also delighted with this program. My reluctant-writer son has written three very impressive pieces, his first ever! And he enjoys the assignments. Now if only there was a high school program from the author! We couldn't be happier with this product.

I am so pleased with Jump In, by Sharon Watson! It breaks down the writing process into small manageable tasks. My son was a reluctant writer and was hesitant to write anything at all. His thinking and vocabulary were so far advanced from his writing and spelling skills that he was extremely discouraged. Yet, my daughter who loves to write was lacking in crucial skills. This program pulls everything together for writers that either hate to write, or for those who love to write. The simple breakdown of skills, in each lesson, is written with a clear step-by-step process, with great expression and examples. I highly recommend this writing program. My children are finally writing opinion and persuasive essays, and are building exposition research skills! My son and daugher, now, both love to write.
