I bought the Large Print for my 65 year old wife and she loves it. The Turquoise Caribbean Blue is more appropriate for our Cocoa, FL home, but its become her companion even here in Maine. Great purchase, Great value, Very pleased.

I have an older Zondervan standard print study Bible that is falling apart. My new one is great and with the large print it is much easier to read and navigate throughout the Bible. I have had several positive comments on my new Bible and am quick to show it and share it.

It has a wealth of information. A great study bible for digging deep into scripture. The pictures are a great help to see how things were then. This is my second NIV bible, I have the Life Application as well. Both are great Bibles.

The features on this product far exceeded my expectations. Excellent grade of paper, tabs cut with great care, Printing and
binding is excellent. The information at the beginning of each book is great, especially for those of us that are not where we should be on our knowledge of the Bible.

I read this book daily and the ease of reading, the notes, and the way the messages are broken down to events really helps in understanding the meaning of God's Words.

Overall a good Bible. with well written notes and comments. The font size is challenging so that you will need to "pace yourself."
I like the feel of the Bible and I would recommend it even if you are a Bible scholar or theologian.

I got this Bible as a Christmas present to replace one that was falling apart. I am a college ministry major and this Bible is excellent for that, I have ADD so the pictures are nice to have, the introductions to each book is very detailed and gives great information. It's not the lightest Bible but it is sturdy and is keeping it's shape nicely, for me it is being opened a lot, so no worries about it falling apart. I love it and am grateful that I can have a Bible of my own and have the right to my religion without being persecuted. Over all a wonderful study Bible.

I have an old paperback version of the NIV study bible dating back to when I was still single. Now my daughter's grown beyond the kid's bibles, and I bought this version for her. This updated version seems to have a great balance between size, general information and life application. She likes the NIV for readability. While I used to think the color photographs were kind of gimmicky, I now think they actually add to the appeal and provide just that much more information. the only reason I didn't give full points for quality is since the binding is not leather. otherwise, the imitation cover seems and feels great (and durable) to me, and we're very satisfied!

This is a great book -- it has the concordance I need, good notes below describing nearly every verse, and an easy to read format. I get a lot more out of reading the Bible with this one!

Only reason it doesn't get a 5 in every category is that I have blue ink splatter on some pages. It doesn't interfere with my readings though. I am sure it was just an oversite & I wouldn't change my book for anything! A little extra character! We are blessed to read, study, & learn from this God breathed scripture! The study notes are a help & I enjoy the references. (Even though you end up all over the bible reading references to a specific verse!) but isn't that the point?! To really study the word & put it in your heart!!?!! Thank you zondervan & Christianbook for my study bible! Thank you dear Lord for the words of inspiration & wisdom!

Very easy to read and aesthetically pleasing, by eBook standards. The spacing and layout simply make it easier to focus on the text without being distracted -- verse numbers and references are there, of course, but they're so unintrusive you only notice them when you need them.
The maps, notes, diagrams, photos, etc. are very helpful to someone beginning or returning to Bible study. All are of very high quality.
The references take you to a different page and you then must click on the 'back to' link to go back to where you were. I would rather have had the notes at the bottom of the page as in the print NIV Study Bible, but I suppose it's a matter of personal preference.

I guess I'm very disappointed that this book, advertised (and priced higher) as a RED LETTER edition is not such. I accidentally bought two copies at $26.99 each. It was to be for a Nook, but not understanding how it works, I downloaded it to my computer. On my computer, it was not the red letter edition, and then I had to buy it again for the Nook; lo and behold, it wasn't red letter edition either.

I ordered this bible because I wanted to be able to read it without having to use my reading glasses. However, the print is so light that I have to use them anyway. Also, the notes below the scripture are tiny so there was no way around using my reading glasses. There were two pages that were stuck together with a blob of ink but I was able to separate them. Other than that, the maps and history and explanations in each section was beyond expectation. I was extremely pleased with that part of it. I highly recommend it, but for those who were hoping to be able to read it without reading glasses - forget it.

This NIV bible is the best NIV bible I have seen. It has great pictures. The notes help explain the text wonderfully. The rest of the helps in the back are great as well. I would recommend to any one looking for an NIV to get this particular NIV bible.

I really wanted this for my iPad but for some reason it will not work properly yet. I am hoping soon it will. However, it works very well on the iPod, which is small enought to carry in my purse.
