I have been using this material in my Sn. High Sunday school class. I make no assumption that the "churched" young people are saved. This material covers the bases. If they were unsure before about the tenants of the faith....they won't be when we're done.

I bought this book for a small group discussion, but after reviewing it, I have realized it is great for individuals as well. Just as the title says, Fundamentals of the Faith, this is great for new Christians as well as those who want to reestablish their footing in the faith. I will highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to get a better understanding of the christian life.

The outlines and lesson content are very direct and easy to follow and learn rapidly. As a whole, it certainly covers the very essential basics of our true Christian beliefs. I strongly recommend it to every Bible believing church.

I ordered this, hoping it was a general workbook to learn about the basic doctrines of the christian faith. Not until I opened the book, did I realize that you needed to be in a class, and you would need to download lessons from Grace to You website. I do bible studies at home, no computer, and by myself. This would be a great class study guide to use; but that's not why I bought it. So, I sent it back.

Though I sent this as a Christmas gift to a father-in-law who professes faith, this could easily be a homeschooling Bible curriculum or Sunday school lessons. It covers the basic facts about the Bible as well as faith questions. This is great for deepening one's knowledge about the Bible as a reliable resource.

Excellent Biblical tool for teaching the basic doctrines. We used it along with the downloaded messages from Dr. MacArthur for our homeschool jr. high grades Bible class. Fundamentals of the Faith is the best resource our family has used yet. Highly recommeded!

Unforunately, people don't understand "lordship salvation" that MacArthur endorses. He has always believed in salvation by grace through faith...and that faith itself is a gift from GOD. But, the same salvation that brings justification also brings sanctification and glorification. If "Christians" are living in sin with no hint of remorse it's unlikely they're in the kingdom to begin with. Second, Calvinism is nothing more than what the apostle Paul taught. That everyone who desires to be saved by coming to Christ may come. But no one will unless GOD gives some a heart to do it. Outstanding work. Too bad people dismiss it without giving it a chance.

Yes, this is a fundamental book that will do a great job of establishing you in the false doctrine of Calvinism and Lordship Salvation. Time to confuse simple grace into a quandary of confusion, philosophy, and works.
