Terri Hinds5 Stars Out Of 5see the truthMarch 1, 2013Terri HindsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5From the start of this book I felt like she was writing my life story. I felt an instant connection with her and her story. I discovered I am not alone there is someone that has walked in my shoes. She writes the story as if she is right there talking to you I mean really right there. With her story she has given me an eye opening look about the addiction I never realized exsisted. I am only a few chapters into the book and with this kind of connection I am looking forward to her tools and guides for healing the wounds, hurts and scars I have.
I recommend this book to anyone that has or is struggling for hope with sexual addiction and how the Bible verses she is teaching helps you draw closer to God.
I see why now I have been asking myself where is God? But he is here, with my addiction it kept my eyes, heart and soul lost. -
iluvmesumuBaltimore, MDAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5inspirational book on sexual purityFebruary 6, 2022iluvmesumuBaltimore, MDAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5it offers a different perspective from other authors on this topic because she considered herself promiscuous and had abortions. its more practical hearing it from some than had premarital sex and shared testimony of reaping consequences. i liked the blogs she used at the beginning of chapter, my favorite was Vagina Monologue. it also offere modern view on sexual impurity like reading erotica ooks are considered pornography. the Holy Spirit will convict amyone struggling with sexual impurity. i also liked how she wrapped it up by encouraging to forgive self for past sexual sins and make peace with past in addition to people associated with it

An attempt to discuss the real problem of lust2 Stars Out Of 5Nice effort but I cannot finish this bookApril 25, 2021An attempt to discuss the real problem of lustQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 1I'm a Christian. I love Jesus. We live in an evil, overly sexualized world. We need a serious book about lust and how to deal with it in a realistic way. Too many Christians tap dance around it, uncertain how to talk about something so private. I mostly get lame, canned Christian answers (oh just have faith, pray it away, etc). This book attempts to give that honest approach, but she talks like an obnoxious 14 year old. I cannot finish reading it. l now regret buying this book.
