I bought this book years ago and still pick it up to share with friends. I just bought more copies for troubled and at risk youths in our community.
This book is a good addition to libraries in prisons and correctional facilities.

I read this following "Victory over the Darkness". What a feast spiritually! New insights for me, and so timely, coming to my attention just after a crisis in my life. Uplifting, enriching, and encouraging to realize that in Christ I am victorious, in spite of all the lies and half-truths that Satan will try to use to defeat me. Satan is a defeated foe, but cleverly tries to divert my attention from God and His promises. Thank God for not giving up on bringing truth to my attention.

I have used this book in the past for teaching. For anyone struggling with issues in your life that keep you 'stuck' - this book, and other books by Neil Anderson are a wonderful tool. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of help thru tough changes in your life.

Dr. Anderson uses scriptural references all through the book, which helps us to understand the Bible more, as well as memorize those verses that pertain to our specific source of bondage. I love the way he uses examples of people he has worked with and counseled, and how they were helped so much by learning the truth. It opened my eyes to things in my life that I have allowed to be obstacles to me living totally free and fully alive! Thank you, Dr. Anderson, for writing this book! My Sunday School class will be using it for their next Bible Study! This is definitely a must read! I would recommend that every woman who is trying to live free and can't seem to do it, to go as fast as you can to your nearest Christian book store, or go online, and buy this book immediately! It will transform your life!

This book exceeded my expections. I purchased it for a Sunday School Class. It has been an eye awaking reading for many of my fellow classmates. It covers materials that I and a friend spent several months traveling long distance on Sunday evenings to get. It was an excellent refresher cource for me!

I could not conquer my sin and thought that I must be a horrible Christian. I felt alone, isolated, rejected and like a failure in God's eyes. This book has helped me to realize the truth of God's word in a way I never considered. The things I had believed about myself were NOT coming from God. I have begun the process of retraining my mind and heart to accept only His truth. I would recommend this book to ANY Christian since it is a powerful tool to help self/others in our battle against the flesh and the devil.

Being a man of science and the son of a minister, I long since found myself caught between two worlds. Always, however, leaning towards the world I was raised in at home; the spiritual one. The issue for me was I never had the full understanding of how to operate in a society ignorant of the spiritual world. This book helped bridge many a gap for me. It wasn't that I didn't know the Scriptures; I didn't know how to put them in the perspective that I could be of some help to someone else... and ultimately myself. I married a young woman deeply broken (unknown to me) with what I now know to be many a demonic influence in her life (including homosexual/ lesbian tendencies). She left and we are now divorced. The biggest heartbreak of my life. How I wish I had known of and read this book three years ago.
Since then, I have recommended or sent this book to several friends, including a dear friend of mine struggling with alcoholism. While there are root causes to such a disease I absolutely believe the ultimate victory over it is found in Christ Jesus; especially by way of the Truths found in Dr. Anderson's treatment of those Scriptures.
To anyone either personally suffering from the anguish caused by unchecked demonic forces in their life or anyone LOVING someone deeply affected by such, read this book and lean on the Truth of Jesus Christ. He is the bondage breaker. It truly should be required reading for anyone new to Christ. It likely should be required reading for anyone deeply rooted in a tradition that does not address the true spiritual warfare we face in this life. Again, I encourage you to read this book. It will make a difference.
