Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller designed this book to help you guide and direct your approach to raising your kids to connect with their heart, rather than just correcting your children and moving on. The book is separated into four parts:

1) Understanding the Heart

2) Connecting with your child's heart

3) Working out Heart Change

4) Touching your child's heart

Each part begins with a Heart story from the Bible and then gives examples of real life instances on how a problem can be addressed, both without reaching the heart and reaching the heart. Understanding that the parents need to look at their own hearts first before trying to address change in their child's heart is a major focus of the book. I'll leave it up to you to read the book to find out the three ways to touch your child's heart - I promise they are game changers in how you will approach parenting and correcting your children.

I have marked and highlighted and taken notes all over this book. I plan on using it throughly while raising my children. It's a fantastic guide into the hearts of your child

You will find that you read and reread sections throughout seasons of parenting. Truly an awesome book!

This is a must. Parenting is heart work is great not only for parents but for everyone. Please read this book it's very easy to read so it will not take you long and you'll benefit greatly form it!
