This is set up in such a way that the first two chapters introduce the point and importance of praying for your husband. The spiritual warfare is sound; Stormie Omartian leaves no place left for the enemy to hide when you pray for all the areas, divided by chapter, in your husband's life. The format is such that it can be easily done with a trusted friend or individually. I like the study guide and don't find it to be redundant but instead an expansion of thought, study, and prayer from the book; I would recommend huying them together. The organization is such that you do the first two chapters right away, and then have shorter chapters for each area of warfare to be prayed over in a week. Then, I have been told, the idea is to take one of each of the chapters per night after getting through the whole book, so you are cycling through all orayers about once per month. I find the initial study and prayer time could be shortened easily if desired; the chapters and study guide are not heavily time-consuming. I am not yet done with the book, but really like it so far and would recommend it to others.

After several betrayal by my husband our marriage hit rock bottom when I found out for the fourth time that my husband was cheating. I refused to prayer for our marriage anymore or even talk to anyone about my pain. But thank God for mercy!!! A friend had lend me this book at he very first signs of the betrayals. The book was very powerful and did help me to find strength to forgive my husband. So I decided to order my own and I am glad I did. I did not realize that the book comes with a study guide; so I ordered both books. Once I started reading the books I did not want to stop reading. The topics were so on point. Positioning God's word in every topic puts everything into prospective. I am now able to pray for so many areas of my husband life and more importantly see him through God's eyes. Since then I bought three additional 3 sets of books for three close friends and they have shared with me how valuable they have found the contents of this book. Thank you for sharing your heart; your book has helped me to see what's important to God!!!

This book was a good refresher on how important it is that we pray for our husbands! Prayer definitely can change circumstances concerning our marriages as well as the choices our husbands make over our families! Very powerful!

I love this book. Would buy one for everyone I know if I had the money. LOL! I've learned a lot from it. Would never had thought to pray for some of the things mention. Every couple should have this one and the husband one.

The book is fine — the ebook format is the problem. YOU MUST READ THIS EBOOK ON Christianbook.com's PROPRIETARY READER. First, it isn't very good as compared to Kindle or iBooks. Second, most of my newer books are all in some kind of digital format. I don't want a proliferation of proprietary formats to keep up with as the years roll by. If you buy this, it is best to consider it as disposable rather than as adding a volume to your digital library. Authors please note: I won't buy any ebooks from Christianbook.com in the future.

This book was great to read especially with my husband read the power of a praying husband. This is a book that we will reread annually! We also HIGHLY recommend The resolution for men and the resolution for women.

My husband has struggled for a number of years with depression, which has left me feeling like my needs weren't being met in my marriage. I struggled trying to figure out how to be a Christ-like servant to my husband without feeling like a slave. This book has helped me to see how to love my husband the way Christ does, and has given me peace as I trust Jesus to make good things come in my marriage in His time and in His way. I bought this book years ago before I was actually married. It helped me to understand so much about myself that I think the Lord sent it to me to prepare me for marriage. I have since lent it out and not gotten it back, so now nine years into marriage I'm buying it again to re-read. I can't wait to rediscover what helped me so long ago and refresh myself in our marriage. Anyone who wants a Godly relationship should read these books!
