eChristian Inc. I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist - Audiobook on MP3-CD

Faith is a necessary element of all worldviews, and, as atheism is definitely a worldview, it necessarily requires faith to be an atheist. Oddly enough, the atheist belief system requires more assent to seemingly unbelievable tenets than Christianity does. Arguing that Christianity contains the least amount of essential but incredible features, Geisler shows interested readers how few things Christians actually need to take 'on faith' compared to other religions and beliefs. Geisler writes with clarity, wit and wisdom to bridge the imaginary hurdle of the impossibility of Christian belief. Unabridged. 15 Hours. 2 MP3-CDs. Read by Kate Reading.

This audiobook is excellent for the apologetically-minded Christian, particularly in describing:[1] The compelling evidences demonstrating the existence of the theistic God (one personal and intelligent, transcendent yet immanent Creator God)[2] The surprisingly-strong evidences for the historicity, accuracy, and reliability of the New Testament [3] The powerful cumulative evidence for Christs resurrection [4] Refutations of the comparatively-weak arguments of atheists and skepticsAnd [5] the resulting logical argument supporting Christs identity as Lord, not liar or lunatic (the Trilemma) I believe Geisler and Turek do a commendable job, not only in presenting the evidence, but in holding the readers (in this case, the listeners) attention with logical and historical arguments interspersed with anecdotes, personal observations, and illustrations of the validity of their conclusions. An excellent audiobook!

Invaluable for all of us who wrestle with all the "tough questions" ourselves, as well as those of us who do evangelism with people who watch too many current secular attacks on Christian foundations. Geisler is fearless in addressing these questions, confident that God and the Bible are genuinely the tested Truth. Great for dealing with the "smart" atheist, but may be too scientific at times for some readers. His presentation of facts and logic are flawless. Comprehensive in addressing these issues from Genesis to Jesus.
