Review 1 for Doctrine That Dances: Bringing Doctrinal Preaching and Teaching to Life
Awesome book, your preaching never be the same. A book to read over and over again to really get it to sink in and really be a part all who you are. I am having to really study this book because it is something I desire for my ministry and preaching, to paint a picture, a true, and full picture for my people to live and learn and be a part of there everyday life.

I thought it was a good read. It does help to some degree. The biggest concern I have is that the author quotes liberals and conservatives without stating the difference. Since he's a Seminary Prof. I would have expected him to articulate the difference. And it never set forth the doctrine(s) we that should have us dancing! It built the case for the dancing more so than the doctrine. If you are a well read pastor/preacher and can wade through that sort of confusion, and know that Henri Nouwen, and Fosdick are liberals that you need to stay away from purchasing the book.I believe you can get an old stand by like Haddon Robinson's Biblical Preaching, and if you like maybe Swindoll or Evans' books on illustrations to help your preaching. Those are better suggestions, in my opinion.
