B&H Books NetCasters: Using the Internet to Make Fishers of Men

Like the industrial age before it, the information age has changed our lives in monumental new ways. Research suggests fifty million people will rely solely on the Internet for their faith-based experiences in 2010. In NetCasters, Craig Von Buseck, director of CBN.com for the Christian Broadcasting Network, discerningly profiles those who are doing the best job of spreading biblical Christianity online. He encourages today's church to follow these online pioneers in fishing for souls in the same rich waters - from blogs and chat rooms to Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, and beyond.

Dr Buseck presents a unique overview into the vast and growing potential of the digital media to share the good news of Jesus. There has been no overview like this since Andrew Careaga's books in the earlier days of the Web. Its well-researched and visionary coverage, interviews and case studies are indispensable to anyone needing to understand the nature of the new media and how to use them effectively. And since we all now live in a 'digital communication culture', this surely means all of us: Jesus-followers at any stage of our spiritual journeys, as well as pastors and leaders, bible college students and faculty (it's an ideal textbook), or mission staff and believers from in many culturers around the world. And remarkably, we don't need technical knowledge to take up these opportunities.
