The practice exercises in this workbook are great and would be a very helpful edition to the matching textbook.

There's one big problem though... there's no answer key!

Practice exercises are useless at least, and could even be harmful, without knowing whether or not your answers are correct. The publisher has a form on their website where you can request an answer key, but i have yet to hear of anyone receiving it from them who was not part of an educational institution. I submitted the form a long time ago and got no response whatsoever. Be warned!

If you are an instructor and would like to have an answer key for your own reference, please contact the authors through Broadman and Holman at www.bhpublishinggroup.com/contact.asp to receive a complimentary answer key. (from the preface, seemingly implying that one must be an instructor in order to receive the answer key. I will try to contact them for an answer key).

I think it is tremendous to have Greek exercises and a recent textbook available as an ebook. As DRM free, one is also able to copy and paste in order to prepare PDFs or printouts, since it is not feasible to write answers in the ADE environment. While there are other resources available online, this is a push in the right direction to begin serious study of LXX / NT Greek. Also, being on sale for $2.99 has been an incentive to purchase this book.

One negative is that neither ADE, iBooks, or even Calibre is able to adjust the font size for the Greek, requiring one to special zoom or squint, but this issue is systemic among ebooks, including commentaries.

All in all, a decent find.

I would recommend it, but would prefer the Greek wording issue be addressed in general, as well as the answer key be made available.

Many parts of this ebook are illegible THe breathing marks are often impossible to distinguish, and the writing for the parts that my teacher has assigned is very tiny. When I try to expand it in my reader, big parts of the page disappear and seem impossible to find. Maybe if a person didn't have to do the more detailed assignments a=or pay attention to the breathing marks, it would have more value, but I do!
