J. Barginear "heir of God"5 Stars Out Of 5April 3, 2010J. Barginear "heir of God"Grace produced Holiness What an exuberant work by Dr. J. Ayodeji Adewuya. He does a magnificent exegetical treatise of Romans 6-8, although not exhaustive but sufficient. In this summation is a good understanding of Romans Chapter 7, a very misinterpreted passage by many. Scripture Says: the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the Great God our Savior Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:11-13)True Born again Christians are predestined to be conformed to the image of Gods Son, Christ Jesus. There is an Already/Not Yet aspect to Sanctification, where Grace Transforms and you can see it in the People of Gods character and conduct. Also there is a total consummation, where everything will be totally perfected forever. But all of this is done by grace through faith or the Spirit of Grace; the Holy Spirit the enabling effective Power. With me being an advocate of eternal security, this is an excellent book.
