What happened in the 24 hours that changed the world? This is an account of the last 24 hours of Jesus' life before his crucifixion. The author has taken the account from Mark's Gospel and fleshed it out with the other biblical accounts where they have something more to contribute.
Essentially the format takes a look at the biblical account and expands it to help the listener fully appreciate each event within the time frame. From the last supper and Gethsemane, through to the cross the listener is taken into the midst of them all. Then there is a reflection on each event which is designed to bring the reality home.
While I have some minor issues with various statements within the book it is still a very solid work that will be useful for anyone to read especially leading into Easter.
The audio book is well narrated however I do wish there was some way around the regular referencing of biblical passages. While it is comforting to know how much the author used scripture directly every reference disrupts the flow.
I received this from Christianaudio.com for an honest review
