Dr. Warren W. Wiersbe is an internationally known Bible teacher and the former pastor of three churches, including the Moody Church in Chicago. For ten years he served as general director and Bible teacher for the Back to the Bible radio broadcast. Dr. Wiersbe has written more than 150 books, including the popular "Be" series of expositional Bible studies, which has sold more than four million copies. In 2002, he was awarded the Jordon Lifetime Achievement Award by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. He and his wife, Betty, live in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I've had experiences with the 5 volume version and own many of the single book versions.
This one is great, has them all in two volumes and on a searchable PDF CD as well!
I gave it a 4/5 in the meets expectations because this version doesn't have the introduction and follow up questions after each chapter like the single volumes do.
But honestly, not a huge downside at all.

I attended a women's conference and the speaker continued to refer to Warren Wiersbe Bible Commentary. It is the best. The language is simple and easy to understand, it is very thourough and the topics are very well explained. I have loved adding this to my study time.

I have several of Wiersbe's individual commentaries, but I like having them all together in two volumes: Old Testament and New Testament. This resource has been very helpful with my weekly Bible Studies and Life Group fellowship. Thank you for providing this comprehensive study aid.

I own a few of his "BE" commentaries which have been easy to comprehend. I like the fact that he has condensed those individual commentaires into 2 large volumes. There is no substitute for the Holy Scripture and revelation from the Holy Spirit but this is a good tool to enhance your study.

This commentary is GREAT! We purchased it because we are leading a study through all the Psalms. We are gaining great insight and love the way it has the chapters divided in topics. We were so pleased to find that a CD of the books came along with the set, now we can keep it on our laptops.

Warren Wiersbe is an excellent Bible teacher. I've always appreciated his insights and applications of the Scriptures. I'm looking forward to exploring this two volume set of his commentaries as well as using the enclosed DVD as a tool in developing my own Bible studies.

The CD that comes with the tow set package does not work on windows 7 and when I copy material from the cd and try to paste it ot WORD it does not extend out to the margins and I have to spend a lot of time dragging and clicking so that I can get the material to fit on the pages proberly. I bought the set because the cd was with it and I am disappointed

Overall, it's a decent commentary. I tried real hard to find out Wiersbe's doctrines before buying. So, for those who want to know, here are a few:
Matthew 24 : destruction of Jerusalem
book of Revelation : premillennial
Acts 2:38 : baptism is nonessential and such a fringe thing one wonders why the word appears anywhere in the Bible

I am a pastor and out of all the commentaries I have, I use these the most. The way the headings are broken down and the verses are explained makes things easy to understand. It has a mix of valuable information and application.
When I use a commentary, I read it to get an understanding of something I might have missed during studying the Bible. I do pull thoughts from them as well...this product has helped me in many ways.
My wife has been using it to teach Sunday School as well.

Both of the commentaries ( Old Test. and New Test.) help one to gain a greater understanding of the Bible text. Mr. Wiersbe's plain explainations and insights are a blessing. A must have to aid in study.
