What could have been a disaster results in a marvelous gift, and the people of Wemmicksville realize that Maker-Day is not about cake or a bouquet--it's all about Eli. Recommended for ages 4 and up.

I am 17 years old, and i went to a leadership camp this summer. While there one of the speakers actually read this book to us during their sermon. When he first told us he was going to read a story he used to read to his kids at bedtime i was thinkin ohhhh boy. However the Lord really spoke to me while he read the story it really showed how even a story meant for little kids can really impact even the lives of older people. The Lord rebuked me for caring to much about what other people think, and not enough about what he my heavenly Father thinks. He is the most important person and i should desire to respect him and please him above all others. It really meant alot to me and i just wanted to let people know :) thanks so much for making this available!

We love everything from Max Lucado, and this book is no exception. We also have the DVD, so the book was a great addition to our collection. Great to read at Christmas or any time of year.

This is the third in a series of stories about Wemmicks, and it again shows children how wonderful God is and how much He delights in His children and spending time with Him. I read it to a group of children I have in an after-school program, ranging in age from 6 to 11. I was afraid they might be a little distracted and bored because of its length, but they hung on every word. The story has a build-up of suspense, and when the climax came, I had a lot of reaction from the children-just what Max Lucado would have wanted!

I purchased this book for my 6 yr old grandson. He liked the book & commented on things as I read to him. I like to get books for his age to keep him interested in the story.

Based on how well pleased I am with the *You Are
Special* book, I have purchased 2 copies of this one. I am saving them as a gifts for grandchildren to be presented at their special occasions. I anticipate they will just as enriching for their spiritual growth as the first book has proved to be.
