Stormie's plunge into the topic of the Holy Spirit is a refreshing look at this oft-neglected part of the Trinity. Her reminder of the Holy Spirit's power and the strength that He can lend us encourages us to remember that we "can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Phil. 4:13.
Stormie's anecdotes along with her trademark sample prayers make implementing her suggestions a personal journey toward God reader-friendly.
Stormie doesn't fall into the mindset of the prosperity movement where the Holy Spirit is seen as an etheric wishing well and your inability to receive blessings as a lack of faith. She bases her view on the Bible and its admonition that you will have times of trouble and its assurance that God, through the Holy Spirit, will be there to comfort, support, and guide you.
Having read other books that deal specifically with the Holy Spirit, I have to say that Stormie's handling of the sometimes confusing topic is the easiest to read and understand.

I was offered this book from Christianaudio.com as a part of their audio book review program and I jumped at the chance as I have liked every book that I have read by Stormie Omartian since I read Power of a Praying Wife. I really feel that Mrs. Omartian truly believes what she writes and truly wants us all to lead a better life by the things that she has learned on her Christian journey. Although I don't agree with her theology about the Holy Spirit she doesn't bang you on the head with what she believes but gives you practical advice on how to have the Holy Spirits power in your life . The reason I gave this audio book a four out of five is because at the end of each section it is ended with a prayer and some scripture. It is very difficult in audio to go back to listen to the prayer again or to the Scripture again. Other than that I thought that this audio book was done very well and I will be looking for this narrator again. Some of the sections in the book were Led to Prayer, Led to Bear Good Fruit and Led to be Transformed with many other subjects covered as well. Excellent book. Highly recommend.

Lead Me, Holy Spirit by Stormie Omartian is a thorough examination of the Holy Spirit and His role in the believer’s life. The main emphasis of the book is that the Holy Spirit is sent as a helper to the believer and that they should seek help more often instead of trying to do it in their own strength.
Helpful insights into how the Holy Spirit leads believers are also included such as a small voice, urging to do something abnormal or just discernment about a certain situation. Warnings are provided that the Holy Spirit will never lead you to sin and that the results of the Holy Spirit’s work should lead to the believer giving the glory to God and not prideful boasting.
The Holy Spirit will cause the believer to follow God with a greater hunger and will almost certainly result in miracles and healing, if obedience is in place to follow the Spirit’s leading.
The narration was quite good, as it was easy to listen to and the flow of the audio book was constant. The narrator used emphasis quite well and it didn’t become monotonous.
This book is a useful resource to enlighten believers to the fact that the Holy Spirit has been provided to them for the purpose of being a helper. It will also help them to get to know how the Holy Spirit operates and the results that are capable if they work together with Him.
