Random House, Inc Forgiveness: Breaking the Power of the Past

Forgiveness: Breaking the Power of the Past is 6-week small-group study for people who are interested in learning for themselves more about what the Bible says on various subjects, but who have only limited time to meet together. This liberating study deals with the difficult questions of forgiveness, including How can I forgive when the pain is so great? Does forgiving mean I have to forget the past? and What if I choose not the forgive? With the leader's notes and Bible passages included right in the book, each self-contained study is a powerful resource for personal growth and small-group discussion.

As a Pastor I found that one of the biggest stronghold in the Christian Church is unforgiveness, I've decided to use this book in our Bible study, to my surprise the class has grown in size and we're digging deep into breaking the power of the past and the freedom that the students are now walking in is awesome. I highly recommend this book...

The topic was great and the presentation was very useful in helping the participants understand and apply the information to their daily Christian living. The participants had to look within themselves and determine if there were true forgiveness. All participants testified to spiritual growth because of their participation.

Our Sunday School class has so enjoyed this study ! It has opened our eyes and hearts to the true meaning and rewards of forgiveness. What a blessing it has been for some of our "girls" seeking the way to forgiveness.
