This youth edition is based on the bestselling book Victory Over Darkness by Neil T. Anderson. The cover states, "Discover your true identity in Christ and stop putting up with the world's garbage." and it is true to this description. Inside the pages youth discover the truth and redemptive, life changing, freeing power of the love of Jesus Christ. This is an excellent book for parents of teens and for youth workers. The truth within the covers of this book would benefit many adults who do not live a life of victory. The world is filled with the lies and deception of the enemy and the only victory is that which is found in Christ - people must be fully secure in their identity in Christ in order to be free from the bondage's of the enemy. We walk in this world and sometimes forget how easy it is to become prey to the enemy, to fall victim to his lies, to become enslaved by his deception and to begin to believe the identity that he weaves for us. This book is liberating and powerful. If you want your teen to experience fullness in his/her christian walk, to attain the full blessings and benefits as children of the king this is a worthwhile investment. In addition to the purchase of this book I highly recommend the bible study Busting Free by these same authors. And if you want further study for yourself look into any of Neil T. Anderson's books!
