Since the Greek text is under the English, which is just the opposite from most interlinear New Testaments, it is easier to see the correct translation of words. In addition, with all of the study aids under each word, the serious Bible student can easily see the Greek pronunciation and syntax. I am extremely pleased with this New Testament and have already recommended it to my weekly Bible study group.

This book is going to be a tremendous help to me. I have a few other interlinear Bibles, but this one is unique in that the English is primary (in the ESV text) and the Greek is below the text; that is what makes it a "reverse" interlinear. This characteristic makes this New Testament a lot more practical for the average Christian that wishes to do word studies in the original language. You will have to have a Greek dictionary like Stong's or Mounce's to look up the meanings of words using the Strong's numbers that are below each word in the text. Any dictionary or concordance w/Greek helps that uses Strong's numbers will do. This is a great investment.

This book, along with an exhaustive concordance both enhances and speeds up any study of the Word. I use an RSV bible and find the ESV alone adds clarification to many passages. Then, with the Greek words and a concordance, I have modified some strongly held personal beliefs and assumptions.

This volume delivers what it promises. It's interesting examining the Greek words in the text and the ESV translation. The transliteration of the Greek into English is very helpful & helps you to learn to read Greek. The numbering sequence of the Greek in each verse is worth noting. The print quality is excellent and the paper is good. You definitely get your money's worth if you want to dig deeper into the word. A good investment.

What a GREAT Christmas present my wife got for me! I have never studied Greek, but I find this Bible very interesting. The introduction is well worth the read, especially if you have no formal training in Greek.

This reverse interlinear is a reference tool that makes New Testament Greek accessible. Having the Greek below each English word and the grammatical breakdown of each Greek word provides special insight into the text. In this way, one feels closer to the original Greek. The book also gives one a great appreciation for the "essentially literal" translation that is the ESV. Well worth the money.

For someone who is not familiar with Greek studying the Greek-English interlinear is most difficult. The reverse interlinear New Testament is so very helpful. The wait of nearly two years on backorder was worth it. I purchased two copies. One for a youth pastor who also struggles with the Greek and later one for my own use.
