There is a lot of great content and Mr. Lutzer certainly backs up his thoughts with Scriptures. However, be prepared for lectures as he is not the most dynamic speaker.

In all honesty, I found it more spectulative (and confusing) than Scriptural. Very disappointed as I expected more--especially since there is so much interest in life after death.

We used this DVD (along with the book) for our Men's Bible Study. We are all Christians and it made us think about what will take place after we die. A few items in the series made us really think deeply about the author's views on what takes place the moment we die. It brought about some deep discussion and we are not sure if we agree with some of the theology offered. Our men's group has been together for a little over four years and we have studied many different biblical topics during that period of time. Our group has grown spiritually and are better able to discern what is and is not biblical (not experts!). Even though some of the points in the book and on the DVD made us go hummmm, again, it brought up good discussion. At the end of this study, two of our men wanted their own copies of the DVD to look at it even deeper and to share with thier family members.

I've listened to Dr. Lutzer on the radio for years; this is the first time I've heard him give a thoroughly to-the-point, yet very pleasant and non-technical expansion on the Bible's teaching of our afterlife. He does quote scripture, but just enough of that, coupled with a bit of fun humor, make this DVD instructional quite pleasant. The price was the clincher. I heartily recommend this item to ANYONE interested on what to expect after death. He does also teach on how we live our lives here & now determines where we go after our last breath. Definite 5*!

The Tucson Tragedy happened in my neighborhood. This has been such a comfort to me and many of my friends. I have purchased several copies of this magnificent DVD to give to my friends, and have also purchased the book & study guide. There is so much that is right there, written out for us in scripture that I didn't see before. Old and New Testatments come alive with truth and power to over come questions and make clear what we really need to comprehend about God's great plan.

I had Dr. Lutzer's book from the first printing, and bought several so I could loan them to people who could benefit from it. I now have four copies left, and jumped at the chance to buy four DVD's. I gave three away, and now have to order morel I can't imagine any better time to give a DVD as when someone has lost a family member or loved one. It can not only bring the gospel to the lost, but bring comfort to believer's.
I love all of Dr. Lutzer's books, because he speaks what is in the Bible and I trust that to be true.
