The historical account is remarcably accurate. Also the srecial effects are quite good considering the technoligy of the day. It is a film worth watching once or twice a year! Too bad the film industry does not make more big budget bible movies, I believe they would be quite profitable.

My husband has loved this movie for more than 30 years. We had a movie disc player and literally wore the disc out watching this movie. Then we recorded it from TV and watched that for a while till it broke. When I saw this DVD I had to buy it for him. Thank you so much for offering it. He is loving it. Great Movie!!

I remember watching this movie as a young child, and that it was awesome. I wanted my homeschooled son to watch it, in the event that it may help him retain some of our Bible lessons.

I have a VHS version of the same movie and I no longer use a VCR, so I ordered the DVD version of The Ten Commandments.

The Ten Commandments is one of the greatest epics of all time! It was a great experience to sit with friends and watch this movie for the second time in fifty years. It took you back to the Biblical account of how GOD brought the chidren of Israel out of Egypt to the Promised land. Excellent movie!

Thanks to CBD my Sunday School class is now being shown selected scenes from the movie. We are going through the book of Exodus, and it is a wonderful aid to the lessons. I asked the students if there were any that had ever seen the movie and out of about eighteen only one raised their hand. So, this is their first time seeing it. I saw it with my father and two neighbors when it first came out. The old Criterion theatre, in Manhattan, many years ago. Even with all of the modern technology in movies today it's still and will always remain one of the best.Thank you CBD, for the opportunity to obtain it, and also the great price.... Tom Seery
