I bought the Cooper Kids series for my eldest son (11), I would read two chapters a night before bed. My second eldest son (9) became interested in hearing me read them also. They loved the adventure and excitement and often said "Read just one more chapter please mum" when it was time to finish for the night.My eldest would then take them to school to re-read during class silent reading time.
A great buy, I'll be keen to get some more if the series continues. It's great to find some Christian literature for growing kids that's Christ centered and holds their attention.

I have been searching for books for my 7 and 9 year old children to read whom both have higher reading levels than their current grade. They love to read! I look for wholesome stories with biblical messages for them to learn and grow by. I ordered this series based upon reviews of others. You can imagine my disappointment after reading the first book and finding many ideas NOT biblical and very dark and sinister! The ending was horrible with many references within the story about cultic content I definately would not allow my children to ever read. Please use great discernment and choose not to purchase this series for your children. It left me with a very disgusted feeling indeed!

I encourage anyone to please read these books, and have your children read these books. They are a great tool for learning about Jesus Christ and His mighty power over the enemy. Awesome!

These books were given to me for my kids, but I wanted to read them first to make sure I approved of the theology. I was surprised to find I loved the books. Christ is at the core of each of these books and they are a wonderful, exciting, and biblically sound alternative to a lot of the young adult books out there today. I would recommend these books to anyone - young and old for a fun read.

I loved these books as a kid and now my daughter is ready to enjoy them. I was very excited to see CBD still had them for a great price and that there was more in the series to enjoy.

This is a great series for kids that crave adventure stories. There is a great "Indiana Jones" air about these books that will keep the kids reading, but the overriding theme is always that God is bigger than any adversary they face.

My 10 year old who reads well, but wouldn't take the time to pick up a book to just read- reads these! He got the 1st set at Christmas and had completed one book before the break from school was over. He wants the next set! He has mentioned that it is Christian based with adventure, what a great combo!

My grandchildren love Frank Peretti's Cooper Kids series. As soon as they have finished reading one of the books, they say, "Please, Grandma, more, more." The books teach great Christian values and are filled with exciting adventures. I'm delighted to foster their thirst for reading in such a wonderful way.

My 11-year old son was a little skeptical about the books at first, but once he started reading them he couldn't put them down. He told me he really liked them a lot. I have read several of Frank Peretti's books, so I knew they had to be good!

I have read all of these books. I am not done with Trapped at the Bottom of the Sea, but I like it so far! I love Door in the Dragon's Throat, and I also love Escape From the Island of Aquarius. The Tombs of Anak was not as good as the others, but it was still very good and exciting. I aslo reccommend The Deadly Curse of Toco Ray.

My 10 year old son eats these adventure books up like candy. They hit his adventure (thrill seeking), but they have a good message and encourage him in the Lord. He can polish them off in an hour or so, so my only complaint is I wish they were longer. A good problem to have with a book.
