this book is amazing!!!! it's helped me so much. it's definitely a must-read. don't listen to all the negative reviews. those people don't know what their saying and are a bunch of haters. make sure you buy the companion guide to go with it for a more in-depth bible study. it's great for a young woman's bible class too!!!!!

I'm doing this study with high school girls and it has been great. The chapters are well written and engaging. I love how the authors have woven scripture throughout the book and use scripture to refute each lie. Great tool!

Needing to address difficult topics with my daughter I bought a print copy for her to read and an e-book version for me. We then discussed the different topics. It was good for her to feel she could read it on her own and consider the content. Meanwhile I prayed for the truth of Gods word to minister to her.

I bought this book for my 13yr old daughter. She never reads a book from cover to cover. This time, not only did she read the book from cover to cover including footnotes etc, she took notes. It helped her a lot.

I am using this book for a study with high school girls, and I wish every girl in high school could know and live out the Biblical truth found in this book. This study uses the Bible to refute the lies that young woman are believing about who they are, what is important, what the world says, etc... I recommend this study to anyone who wants to get really serious about living a life based on God's Word as opposed to falling for the lies of the world. Even as an older woman, I have found that several of the "lies" addressed still affect my own life to some degree. Thank you Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Dannah Gresh for this straightforward presentation of the truth in a format that appeals to young women.

A book I wish was around when I was a teenager. So many wrongly based values infiltrate the mind and heart of our young women; statements they unconsciously believe and set up as the foundation of their worldview. This book de-bunks the attraction the world instills in our girls and young women and creates a solid rock in which our their values about themselves and others will strongly stand; biblical, God gifted values.

A must-read for every girl from 13-20! Our Sunday School class of young ladies is looking forward to the entire study. We started it last Sunday. I've speed-read the book twice now and am excited about how God can use this book to make us more like Him. I love the bright colors and graphics on the cover and inside. It's just not a boring, old ladies kind of book.
