Customer Reviews for Moody Publishers Revelation

Moody Publishers Revelation

Trumpets. Seals. Vials. Plagues. Woes. Horsemen. The Book of Revelation confuses so many Bible readers that some of them just ignore it. Avoiding technical language, this newly revised ESV-based commentary clearly explains the perplexing text of John's visions, without being sensational. Walvoord defends the premillennial position, but considers other views as well. 394 pages, hardcover from Moody.

Revelation provides solid background and teaching about the biblical book of Revelation. The foundational writing of the book was done by a person I consider one of the finest teachers about biblical prophesy of the 20th century, John F. Walvoord. It has been updated nicely by Walvoord's son and Rawley and Hitchcock. It is easy to read and understand, yet properly academic. I noted a few minor typos in the text, but they do not harm the readability. I highly recommend this book for the library of any student of biblical prophecy.
