The answer: "Yes, but. . ." This superb book calmly and gently unwraps a serious question that is foundational to our witness and sharing to Muslims. Timothy George is a master at presenting difficult theological dilemmas with challenging yet comprehensible explanations. Everyone seeking to relate redemptively to Muslims should read and meditate on this jewel of a book. Strongly recommended without reservation.

A fine book to help understand the similarities and differences between Islam and Christianity. Includes good explanation of the Doctrine of the Trinity and other helpful information to consider when discussing faith with our Muslim friends, without being to technical or difficult to grasp. I highly recommmend this book.

Dr. George always does a good job in integrating theology, history, and discipleship. Such skills and insight have given us a brief and very helpful summary of the critical issues distinguishing the Christian and Muslim understandings of God and his purposes for humankind. The reader who takes to heart George's message in this book should gain a basic understanding of Islam, a better understanding of the benefits of a proper understanding of the Trinity, and also an encouragement to a sensitive perseverance in loving interaction with Muslims.
