I had a prior Ryrie Study Bible in Hardback and I loved it. The problem with it was that I kept it open so much that the binding was cracking. This Bible gives me everything I want and need to immerse myself in the study of God's word. It remains open to the page you are studying, the binding is not stressed by leaving the Bible open and it has all of the wonderful features that made me LOVE my previous Ryrie Bible

I got this Bible because our pastor switched from the NIV to the NASB. I myself love the NASB I now have 3 of them. 1 of the original, the MacArther Study and this one. I wanted one for church because I was taking the non updated and it was a little different than the updated. But I didn't want to spend alot of money. And the price was unbeatable. The "soft touch" is really cool, feels like leather. And the scripture on the back was a great touch....2Tim. 3:16. Amazing how many 3:16 verses in His Book are amazing.
If it should fall apart...which I somehow don't think it will happen, I'll follow this up. I also can't comment on the notes because I haven't had it that long. But if you're looking for a VERY inexpensive, but nice looking Bible...get it.

This Bible is unlike most NASB Catholic Bibles which contain 73 books. This Protestant Bible, however, only contains 66 books.

I bought this Bible for a new convert and had to order more! She loves her new Bible and now wants one for her daughter. The quality of this Bible is a huge step up from the less expensive paperback yet the price is unbelievably affordable.

Even if the pages turn our to be strong, they are so thin that the print from the back side of each pages is visible and very distracting to me. Disappointed that the quality of the content of this Bible is so much greater than the quality of it's physical production.

This Bible has so many great tools to expand your understanding of the contents of the Bible. There is a lot of information about the history with timelines and maps and background info for every book. It has a lot of cross references and the study notes are not too excessive. It's big but totally worth it for the extra info!

Very well put together study bible for those who are wanting to dive deeper into scripture. NAS is definitely easy to read without giving up the literal translation. Ryrie's notes, outlines, summaries and commentary gives an excellent guide to helping the reader to a better understanding of the scriptures without a lot of bias. Highly recommend.
