I have used this Bible for many, many years, it's the one I carry. Our daughter in law is a new believer and I'd gotten her one awhile ago, but the binding went south, so I got her this new one for Christmas. I know she'll enjoy it, she loved the other one. I guess my only criticism would be the binding, it's not all that great on mine either.

Commentary, cross-references, etc. are great! I have the NIV friends have the NLT, they are pleased with theirs also. One bought hers elsewhere and paid 4x more! The other's son bought hers for her as a gift from cbc. He reccommended you to me.

This study bible is amazing! I'm new to Christian living but this book has helped me understand the bible and answers a lot of questions I have that even my elders can not. It's clear and easy to understand! I recommend this too everyone :)

This Bible is by far the best I have ever read. It explains the scripture and how we should live our lives in order to please God. I have given several to friends who are struggling with life or just want a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. The price at Christianbook.com is by far the best I have found.

Terrific organization, supporting notes are voluminous and easy to understand. Features such as "the harmony of the gospels" which provides reference to common points of the four gospels to the 250 events in Christ's life shows the depth of thought that went into creating this bible.

I have had this bible for about a year now and use it
for two weekly bible studies. Many of my students have
asked me to order a copy for them, which I've done.
I have purchased for them, at their request, about
six of this particular bible to date. All are well pleased.
It is readily understandable and explains some of the
difficult passages which are somewhat trying at times
to new bible students, and yes...even we longtime
students benefit greatly as well. I am pleased to

It was given to a new christian friend as a gift from my husband. It has all the pertinent features of any study Bible I've ever reviewed. He is enjoying it very much, his faith had deepened, and he's enjoying Bible studies with enthusium. We would recommend it to anyone with a desire to grow deeper in the Word.
