Rosalind and Jonathan Goforth were on the front lines of the Boxer Rebellion in 1900-1901, and they saw the mighty hand of God respond to their fervent prayers.
This book tells how God met their needs and struggles. You will be challenged by Mrs. Goforth's testimony of how Almighty God cares for His children when they express their dependence on Him through prayer.

I've very surprised to be the first to review what I would think is a Christian classic, similar to George Mueller's autobiography. In a little work of under 150 pages, this missionary wife relates in "trench warfare" stories HOW it is that, "...the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power." 1Cor 4:20 In stark contrast to the Emerging Church i.e. contemplative prayer movement, her story relates that we cannot "...climbeth up some other way...." John 10:1. One could read a number of theological works on "abiding in Christ" to their benefit, but if you would "...receive the kingdom of God as a little child...." John 10:15, read this.
