Christian Focus Publications The Westminster Confession of Faith Study Book: A Study Guide for Churches

The Westminster Confession is a foundational document for countless churches worldwide. Churches of all sizes claim it as their confession, and hold to it with varying degrees of closeness. However, how many people actually have any real knowledge of the Confession or feel it is only of relevance to their church leaders?

Joey Pipa's study book is the ideal tool for all Christians who seek to gain a better understanding of their faith through exploring an integral cornerstone of Reformed Christianity. Pipa has produced an accessible, user-friendly study aid, which illuminates the Westminster Confession for all Christians, showing it is not just a document for intellectual theologians, but is as relevant in our own lives today, as when it was written.

I enjoy reading all the confessions; however, the commentaries on them are insightful. I probably have studied the Heidelberg a bit more and we are gifted to have one of the original authors (Ursinius) publish his book on his thoughts during the writing. The Westminster is the most complete as far as depth of study, but all the confessions are what makes my Presbyterian faith more understandable. And lends wisdom to the events around the reformation. This is another good book.

I think this book is an excellent resource for the study of our faith and beliefs of the early churches and you can also see where a lot of modern day churches have veered away from teaching on Reformed Christianity. It is easy to read and to comprehend.
