I have found the book to be very thorough and the questions placed before me were probing. I highly recommend this book.

This is an excellent work on systematic theology. I purchased it because while doing research for a paper I discovered that in some areas of Millard Erickson's Systematic Theology brevity of treatment in some areas where Culver went into much greater detail. I think the major difference between the two works is that Erickson assumes basic knowledge on the part of the reader where Culver assumes the reader has little to no basic knowledge of systematic theology. I believe that these two authors, Erickson and Culver compliment each other so I now have both works in my pastoral library.

Culver's work would be an excellent addition to the library of any evangelical student, pastor, or teacher. I highly recommend it.
