Zondervan 1 & 2 Timothy & Titus: NIV Application Commentary [NIVAC]

1&2 Timothy and Titus [NIVAC] (A.K.A. The Pastoral Epistles) shows us that Paul dealt with as many challenges complications, and doctrinal issues as those faced by modern pastors, mentors, and other church leaders. This commentaries instructs us, through studying Paul's own words (i.e. Liefield accepts Pauline authorship), on how the great apostle handled such issues as false teachers, the role of women, ethics, repentance, and more.

Good commentary on these three books. Tends to shy away from controversial issues. This series of commentaries has been been enjoyable and a boon for both studies and preaching.

As with the others in this series, this volume is well written and theologically sound. The discussion on 1 Timothy 2 makes it well worth the price. Absolutely a great resource for Bible class or preaching.
