Sparks fly when pastry chefs Grace Carpenter and Marco Poloni team up for the Golden Whisk Dessert competition, "the Olympics of desserts," and its $250,000 prize. With nothing in common, they're determined to restrict the partnership to "just desserts," but it isn't long before this marriage of convenience threatens to turn into the real thing. But the competition is tougher than either expected. When renowned pastry chef Jacques Du Jacques, a bitter rival from Marco's past, enters the professional competition it results in a delicious story of love, pastries and just desserts. Color. Pop in the DVD, kick your shoes off and let this movie take your mind off the stress of your day.
Marco wants to keep the family bakery open & convinces Grace to enter a competition with him.
Marco and Grace don't like each other but work well together.
The desserts are very pretty.
Jim, Grace's boyfriend is sweet but too naive.

I agree with Jennifer's comment (below) and the movie was a bit cheesy for my taste personally. If I had known what the movie was I would not have spent my money on this one.

This movie was not what we had hoped for, it was kind of cute but didn't really have a storyline that we could follow. It had one scene that I thought was unnessecary and could do well without. But if you want an easy movie without bad language then maybe this would be nice.

What a fun, fun movie!! Everyone did a great job and the actors clearly enjoyed themselves! Brenda Vaccaro was a hoot!! I recommend it for anyone who wants just a fun little movie to kick back and relax to!

Loved it! Great story line; it shows you are never to old to fall in love and it comes when you least expect.
