The description, "a book simple in language and complex in depth..", is an appropriate description of the book. Dr. Sproul has done a masterful job in organizing, developing and presenting the material in language that can be understood and digested by anyone interested in the subject. Dr. Sproul elucidates complex subject matter with examples and terminology that allows the reader to coherently follow the reasoning and arguments without getting lost in abstractions and hard to understand philosophical categories. Readers who have no prior in-depth understanding of philosophy will be pleasantly surprised how quickly they can grasp the subject matter without reference to dense footnotes, primary sources or original works. This book is a "must read" for anyone wishing to gain a good understanding of the foundational elements of Christian Apologetics and obtain the tools to comprehend and unmask much of the masquerade that takes place in the cultural debates of today. Once I commenced reading the book, it was difficult to put down!
