I'm not sure about some of the five-star reviews below...maybe the manufacturer has changed? This toy was a complete bust. Hardly anything fit on the Larry doll at all, and those that did very easily got completely stuck. There was no way that Larry Boy helmet was getting anywhere near on his head like it should. I had a disappointed little guy on Christmas day. :-(

The idea is about the only good thing about this toy. Unfortunately, it was very poorly made. I can barely get the clothes on and off Larry, so my kid definitely can't. And some of the shirts have sharp, unfinished edges. Definitely not what I was expecting.

We ordered this for our grandson. When we received it, the suits would not fit the cucumber. A number of adults and children wiggled it and tried all kinds of ways to make them fit. No luck. I called CBD. They were great to work with; they sent another set out "overnight express". Again, the suits wouldn't fit the cucumber. As I was ready to give up, my husband asked the question, "do you think the eyes are removable?" When we discovered that they were, the suits fit perfectly. There was nothing on the box that talked about needing to remove the eyes to get the suits to slip over the cucumber. Hope this hint helps someone else who is having trouble. It really does work and our grandson enjoys the toy. I have to give the toy a low score because of the lack of directions and the trouble we went through to figure out how to make them work.

This was a birthday present for my son and he loved it. It's really cute how the parts are interchangeable, but the slight curve of Larry's body made it possible for one of the suits to get stuck on there when my son pushed it on a little too hard. It is COMPLETELY stuck and we have tried everything, including WD40! At this point, I am ready for my husband to try to break that suit off so the others can be used.

I bought this for my 5 yr. old grandson to play with, and he LOVES it! He knows all of the characters, so pretends Larry is a movie star, and has many costume changes during his movie making day. My nearly 2 year old grandson has discovered that he can change the hats and clothes, so I am thrilled with the small motor development it fosters. My nieghbors 6yr. old girl and 4 yr. old boy found it this morning, and fell straight away in love with it! They even shared it and took turns playing with it. How fabulous is that?! Overall, you are going to love this. I was pleasantly surprised by the largeness of it, and the kids all think it is great.
