this book has superb writings for anyone addicted to a mind altering substance. Those who are fortunate to not be addicted to anything can also benefit from Parham's insights.

This is an exceptional devotional for anyone in recovery - to give as a gift or to give to yourself! I don't know where he managed to find them all, but Parham uses remarkable anecdotes to illustrate the scriptures for each daily devotion. As recovering Christians, my husband and I have been using this daily devotional for over 15 years, completely "wearing out" 2 copies! I highly recommend it to anyone in recovery.
