This was exactly what I needed to search the Scriptures and learn how my Savior wants me to apply my faith to my life. I Loved the added Scriptures that were suggested for more research and the questions asked helped me to clarify my beliefs and confirm my faith. John MacArthur has definitely been added to my Bible Expositor favorite list!

My Young Adult class has been blessed by the depth of this study. I highly recommend this study to all who want to know how to deal with today's issues. God's Word has the answers and this study helps explain the Scriptures verse by verse.

Great study material. I especially love that you can actually do this study without having to have a Bible close at hand, as most of the referenced scripture in actually in each lesson. This makes this study particularly handy while traveling. Amazing breakdown, line by line, of the meaning of the scripture. I would recommend this study to anyone!

This product was purchased for our sunday school class and it has promoted a lot of discussion and deeper digging into the Word. It is easy to use and understand, giving you a clearer idea of how we should be applying God's Word in our lives. John MacArthur gets right to the meat of scripture in his teachings, he does not pad the truth, nor does he take away from it. It is very good.

Over Xmas time (we had bitter cold and blowing snow) I had received this in a book order. I had never done a bible study from one of MacArthur's before. I worked a lesson per day, and I learned a lot I didnt know about the book of James before! My pastor is preaching through James, verse by verse, and I can follow him much better, having studied James on my own..I want to do more of these MacArthur bible study guides..doing verse by verse really 'plants' the book in your mind, and the questions he asks, make you think.
