I appreciate the thought-provoking questions which cause us to delve into the text of scripture deeply. The explanatory notes are very beneficial also. Love the "Going Deeper" sections which add so much understanding of the Peter passages by expanding on a specific topic by bringing in a related text from another book of the Bible.

Looked everywhere for a good price for these books in multiple copies for our young adult group. Amazon just had singles, MacArthur's own store was full list - only CBD had multiple copies at a decent price.

This series has the small extra veres to help with the study. I like that. This is our 4th study book of his that we used. The have all been wonderful. Very indepth. Leads to a lot of decussion.

Timely delivery. Reviewed books and find they are very well structured and questions are relevant and help to re enforce learning the content. I like the expectations questions at beginning of lesson. Could help participants to study and ask questions in the group that center on real concerns.

very good guided study of a book. includes beneficial commentary, but also asks questions that you must really think about and answer on your own as you look at other relevant scripture. pushes you to examine the text and also examine yourself as a believer.

I am slowly working my way through John McArthur's I Peter. The scripture readings are followed by clear interputations of their meanings. Mr McArthur has given "bite" sizes of explanations that has helped in my understanding of the passage. It gives me great joy!
