Disappointing. Kathleen O'Bannon seems to really know her stuff and has some good points on nutrition, and how it effects the body. But, this book has very poor theology, pulling verses out of context to support a way of viewing nutrition, instead of allowing the Bible to be the root, and the nutrition to spring forth from it. It is definitely based on using a Mediterranean diet, which is healthy, but disregards the fact that we are under the New Covenant (Romans 14:19-21). This book would have been much better as a plain old nutrition book. It is as if the author wanted to write a nutrition book, and then just took a Bible concordance and found verses to support her writing.
