the book was 5 1/2 squared with only 8 pages & each page had 4 words. Again, one thinks they are getting one thing & in hand is the opposite.

A great little book that my 2.5 year old loves to have read to her. She does not want to read yet, so she is selective of the sight words that she says she recognizes. I think these books would be a really good resource for kids that are interested in learning to read.

My twin 3 yr. old sons love this book. They were so excited that after reading the book a couple times with me, they realized they could read all the words themselves. They enjoy reading it to each other. There are only 4 words on each page, 3 of which are the same on every page, making it very easy for them to "read".

Good book for teaching your child to read, simple senteces for a preschooler. But you get what you pay for, it's not very big. Pictures are nice and colorfull.

The Linda Ward Beech Sight Word Readers series is a fantastic tool to quickly start a child reading. Short 8 page lessons, with two key sight words in each book, will give your child the basic vocabulary they need to begin reading. I highly recommend the whole series as it is definitely worth the money.
