Just as harvesting a garden means kicking up some dirt, raising teenagers often gets messy. Diana's grace-filled and experience-based approach to parenting shows you how to build strong relationships, avoid "typical teen" behavior, lovingly instruct your children on the path toward maturity, and enjoy one another. 224 pages, softcover from Apologia.

This book has been one of those life changing ones for our family. As opposed to a list of heavy rules or guilt inducing "should haves", Diana helps you to pick up right where you are and love your teen in a gracious and godly manner. In addition to these great ideas, the book has excellent practical advice to help you and your teen together narrow down the field and decide "what happens after high school". There are many suggestions for resources/other books to read about topics that are covered. After reading this book, I feel like I've been to a great homeschool confrence--I was rather burnt out, and now I am inspired!
