I enjoy AOP. My children all use some form of the program. I am very happy with the layout and the incorporation of Christ in each subject.

I'm so thankful that this curriculum is user-friendly and my son loves his lessons. He is very intelligent, but can get distracted easily. The lessons aren't too long, but flow well when used together. He was using a spiral learning method prior to this and was frustrated. The focus that this curriculum provides for mastery learning is aiding his confidence and helping him overcome some learning "blocks" we encountered in the past. I'm a happy Mom!!! :)

I did not find this to be very user friendly. In switching between workbooks and teacher's book, I feel that I am doing more studying that my first-grader. Years ago I had curriculum for my son which was all-inclusive, which I found much easier to work with, especially since these workbooks REQUIRE the close coordination with the teacher's books. I am quite disappointed that I will, again, have to switch to a different curriculum with the next year.
