Written in a personally challenging and spiritually uplifting style, this book also gives a great summary of God's providential preservation of his perfect word. It is easy to read and hard to put down. Convincing, inspirational and factual, I would recommend it to anyone who believes God not only inspired his written word, but preserved it perfectly for us to read today.

This is one of the most captivating books I have ever read. It gives detailed accounts of what people went through just to be able to have the privilege to read for themselves what the authors of the books of the Bible had to say. Through their self sacrifice we are blessed to have God's word in our hands. I'm sure these men had a EXTRA special place in heaven that was prepare just for them. God bless!

This is an excellent book on the history of our English Bible and during the Reformation. God has gone to great lengths to give us His word that we can read ,ourselves and understand. Many gave their lives for this cause. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone, especially Pastors,Teachers,Anyone!

If you are confused by all the different "bibles" out there today. You are not alone.

(1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV) "For God is not the author of confusion..."

God promised to preserve His Word. Where is it?

(Matthew 24:35 KJV) "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

(Psalms 12:6-7 KJV) "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (7) Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

(Proverbs 30:5 KJV) "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."

Who benefits from all of the confusion brought on by these new "bible" versions? It's clear to me that it's not God or His children.

God did preserve His Word and perfect an English Bible before the English language swept across the world. The Authorized Version, the KJV Bible is God's preserved Word to the English speaking world. Do your own research. This book is a quick read loaded with great historical information about how God perfected His Word through seven English translations and the shed blood of many faithful martyrs along the way.
